
Hold onto your Santa hats folks, Mayor Don Walters is excited to announce that the City of Cuyahoga Falls will host the 2025 Tree Lighting Celebration on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at City Hall, 2310 Second Street.

Festivities will begin at 4:00 p.m. with ice carving demonstrations, crafts, train rides, a petting zoo, and live reindeer.
Santa Claus and Mayor Walters will arrive and light the tree at City Hall at 6:15 p.m., followed by a drone show from the Natatorium parking lot. Photo opportunities and food trucks will be available throughout the event.
Food Trucks: Travelin' Tom's Coffee, Eddie's Cheesesteaks, DJ's Snack Shack, It's a Chicago Thing, Brooks BBQ, and Southern Thangs.
The ice rink at the Downtown Plaza will be open for skating on Saturday, November 30, from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. Admission is free. Skate rental is $5.
Parking Meters on Parade will return to Downtown Cuyahoga Falls for the holiday season. Downtown visitors will enjoy decorated parking meters and free on-street parking (2-hour limit) courtesy of Parking Meters on Parade sponsors. Voting link will be live soon!
To accommodate the Holiday Tree Lighting Celebration, the following parking restrictions and road closures will be in place:
The top level of the Green Parking Deck will be closed from Friday, November 28 at 10 p.m. through Saturday, November 29 at 10 p.m.
Stow Avenue between Second and Third Streets will be closed on Saturday, November 29 from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Second Street between the Green Parking Deck and Oakwood Drive and Stow Avenue between Front and Second Streets will be closed on Saturday, November 29 from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Second Street between Portage Trail and Oakwood Drive and Stow Avenue between Front and Second Streets will be closed on Saturday, November 29 from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m.
